Horticultural Science Anniversary Celebration

On April 26, 2013, the Department of Horticultural Science will be hosting a special celebration at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum to honor:

The 100th Anniversary of our Department's Seminar Series (January 13, 1913)

and

The 125th Anniversary of the Founding of the Department (1888)

The event will be highlighted with an all-day, historic summary of the seminar and department's contributions to horticulture in Minnesota and around the globe. We will have guest speakers, historic summaries from current faculty and their lineage of students, numerous chances for reminiscing about past events, research findings, teaching highlights, and extension landmarks in our bountiful history. The honor of your presence is hereby requested.

The celebration will last from approximately 9:00am to 8:00pm. A schedule of events will be posted once it has been finalized. Please RSVP if you can attend this celebration.

 RSVPs have been closed for the anniversary event. Feel free to attend the talks and lectures, but food will not be provided.
